Welcome to YUMYUMPO. These terms govern your use of yumyumpo.com and our services. By using the platform, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

1. What YUMYUMPO is

YUMYUMPO is an AI-powered restaurant discovery and visibility platform for the Philippines. We help travelers and locals find restaurants. We also offer premium website hosting for restaurants that want us to build them a digital home.

YUMYUMPO is not a food delivery service, an ordering platform, or a payment intermediary. We do not handle transactions between you and any restaurant.

2. Using the site (as a visitor)

• You can browse, search, and use Fred (our AI) freely.
• You agree not to scrape, mass-download, or attempt to disrupt the platform.
• Restaurant ratings and information are gathered from Google Reviews and our own curation. They are opinions and references, not guarantees about the restaurant.
• When you click through to a restaurant's website, you leave YUMYUMPO and our terms no longer apply.

3. Restaurant accounts & listings

If you list a restaurant on YUMYUMPO, you agree that:

• You have the authority to represent the restaurant.
• The information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
• You own (or have permission to use) any photos, logos, or content you upload.
• YUMYUMPO may remove or refuse any listing that breaks the law, is fraudulent, or doesn't fit the platform's standards.
• Free listings are subject to curation — applying does not guarantee approval.

4. Premium website hosting

If you opt into our premium hosted website service (a paid offering), the specific scope, deliverables, fees, and term will be set out in a separate written agreement before any work begins. These Terms apply to platform use; the website-build agreement covers the website itself.

5. Fred (AI features)

Fred is our Food & Restaurant Experience Discovery AI. Fred uses local heuristics and may use third-party language models (Anthropic Claude) to produce suggestions. Fred's recommendations are informational only. Always verify restaurant details (hours, location, prices) on the restaurant's own website or by contacting them directly before visiting.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit fake applications, reviews, or impersonate a restaurant you don't represent
• Upload content that's illegal, infringing, defamatory, or sexually explicit
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of YUMYUMPO infrastructure
• Use automated systems to scrape data at scale

7. Intellectual property

The YUMYUMPO name, logo, AI ("Fred"), platform code, and design are ours. Restaurant content uploaded by owners remains owned by the restaurant; by uploading it, owners grant YUMYUMPO a non-exclusive licence to display and promote it on the platform.

8. Liability

YUMYUMPO is provided as-is. We work hard to keep listings accurate but we can't guarantee a restaurant will be open, that the menu hasn't changed, or that your experience will match your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, YUMYUMPO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any restaurant you discover through us.

9. Account suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or harm the experience for other users. Restaurants may close their accounts at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified by email (for account holders) and posted on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of Metro Manila.
